Site Selection
When selecting a site for your Mini Cribs cubby house, it's essential to plan for the weather in your location. Choosing a spot that offers some shade during the summer months will prevent the cubby from becoming too hot for your Minis to enjoy.
Additionally, ensuring the Mini Crib is not exposed to the full force of winter weather will contribute to its longevity. Opting for a location with year-round controlled weather will prevent the product from warping, swinging, or shrinking due to extreme heat fluctuations, rain, and/or cold.
Similarly, picking a location with enough ground around it will allow your Minis to extend their play outdoors, creating endless adventure opportunities. By considering these factors, you ensure year-round fun for your Minis while maximizing the enjoyment and durability of your Mini Crib.
Site Preparation
Before any DIY assembly or professional installation takes place, we kindly ask that you ensure the installation area is level and free from any debris. We recommend that the cubby be installed on a gravel base. Gravel provides a flat, stable surface that drains well to help keep the timber dry. Other options include pavers or concrete.
These preparations will facilitate a smooth setup process and help ensure your Mini Crib is installed safely and securely.Pre-Assembly / Installation
Before diving into the assembly of your Mini Crib, we kindly request that you thoroughly inspect all product components. If you notice any damage or missing parts, please refrain from assembly and contact us immediately for assistance.
Please note that if you do not plan to assemble your product right away, we kindly request that you inspect all components within 7 business days of delivery to ensure no parts are missing. This ensures that we can promptly assist you with any necessary support or replacements. After this period, we may not be able to accept claims for missing components.

Care & Maintain
At Mini Cribs we’re committed to ensuring that your timber cubby house remains a beloved centrepiece of your outdoor space for years to come. In this section, we’ll guide you through simple yet essential steps to protect and preserve your Mini Cribs cubby house. Let's dive in and keep your Mini Cribs product looking its best for endless adventure!
Wood Treatment & Painting
· Timber is a natural product. When left without sealing it will grey off. If you love the natural timber look and do not want to seal your Mini Cribs cubby house you will need to ensure placement of the Mini Crib is within a well-ventilated & well-lit area, but away from direct & constant wet weather.
· Sealing your Mini Cribs cubby house with natural oil is another great way to keep the natural look of the timber and provides a layer of protection for increased lifespan.
· Painting your Mini Cribs cubby house is the most highly effective way to prevent Mold growth, discoloration, and warping of the product. First seal with a primer, then topcoat. We recommend using a high-quality exterior 4-in-1 paint (primer, sealer, topcoat & Mold barrier).Maintenance
Cubby houses are a great addition to any backyard, providing endless fun and adventure for your mini’s. However, like any outdoor equipment, they require regular maintenance to stay in great condition.
